A child’s age as of July 14, 2026 determines their age division for the season.

Any athlete added to a roster will receive an email notification from the registration system confirming your status and prompting payment. Once rosters have been filled, all athletes remaining on the waitlist will receive an email communication from EMB informing of their status.

All registrants for football and cheer will be automatically placed on a waitlist upon registration. This allows our organization to properly review registrations, confirm age divisions, and build balanced rosters across all teams.
Waitlist placement does not guarantee a spot on a roster. While factors such as prior participation may be considered during roster formation, they do not guarantee placement.
If your athlete is placed on a team roster, you will be notified via email. Once rosters are full, all remaining waitlisted athletes will also be notified.
COST for the 2026 football season is $400 -- fee includes a personalized reversible jersey, integrated football pants, warm-up t-shirt and shorts. Equipment bag and socks will be available as an add-on purchase to those families interested. Helmet and shoulder pads are borrowed from the organization and returned at the end of the season.
We offer a sibling discount of $25 for each child after the first registrant. You will not be prompted for payment until your child is placed on a roster.

Scholarships are available for qualifying families. Opportunities to contribute towards scholarships are also available. Please email secretary@eastmanateebulldogs.com with questions or inquiries regarding either option.
Practices begin July 15th.
Practices are located at our home field, located in the rear of Lakewood Ranch Park, 5350 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. If you turn heading west on Malachite Drive off of Lakewood Ranch Blvd, we are toward the end of the road and you can see our building on the south side of Malachite and Mustang Alley. If the fields are unplayable an alternate location may be announced.
Practices during the month of July and August are Monday through Friday 6pm-8pm. After Labor Day, practices are reduced to three days a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Practices are not optional. If an athlete has two or more unexcused absences in a single week, they will not be eligible to participate in that week’s game. Exceptions may be considered, but consistent attendance is expected.
Our rules require 10 hours of conditioning before a player is eligible to participate in contact drills. Please remember to keep your child hydrated. (Click here for more information in Hydration)
An additional 10 hours of practice in full equipment is required before players are eligible to play in the Jamboree or any regular scheduled games.
*July 15th is the start of the mandatory conditioning (20 hours). Please try to schedule family vacations around this time period, as any conditioning hours missed will need to be made up .
The regular season runs from July 15 through late October, with games being held typically on Saturdays beginning in August. Games will be played either at our home field (Lakewood Ranch Park) or at our opponent's field in the region. The game schedule will be available in late July. Please be advised that there is the potential for post season games and/or bowl games to run through the end of October, and possibly even later depending on each team's advancement.
All EMB rules and expectations will be available prior to the start of the season. EMB will hold a mandatory player/parent town hall prior to the start of the season to discuss these rules and expectations. In addition, each team will hold its own mandatory player/parent meeting prior to the start of the season so that the coaches may introduce themselves and may go over their own rules and expectations for the season.
