Our 2013 season is only a couple months away!

We want to make sure all Pop Warner families are informed about Pop Warner eligibility in regards to playing for your neighborhood team.  The East Manatee Bulldogs are a proud member of the Foundation for Youth Development Conference which is the only Pop Warner Conference in Manatee County.  Pop Warner regional guidelines prohibit any participant that resides in Manatee County to cross conferences and participate in Sarasota County Pop Warner organizations which are members of the Peace River Conference.  The same is also true for Sarasota County residents and their participation in Manatee County Pop Warner teams.

East Manatee Bulldog Online Registration Link:

Whether you are a returning participant or brand new to EMB, the online registration is a valuable tool.  Once you have created  a profile you will be able to log in each season and your profile will still be there.  All you will have to is upload your new documents for the year.

The registration period is open for anyone wanting to register for spring or fall football.  If you are enrolling for fall football there is a payment option.  Please take advantage of the early registration period.

Our goal is to move to a paperless registration system this means that we prefer you to utilize our online registration link.

2013 East Manatee Bulldog Car Raffle:

We are excited to announce our 2013 Car Raffle. The Bulldogs are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a 2013 Camaro. This contest is an exciting one. We are selling a maximum of 500 tickets for this raffle.  Each ticket is $100 and is a 501c(3) charity donation.

That means you will have a 1 in 500 chance of winning. The estimated value of this prize is $25k and is the biggest fundraiser the Bulldog association has ever launched.

Volunteers and Coaches Needed:

A very important part of Pop Warner are the volunteers.  Every member of the East Manatee Bulldog staff is a volunteer.  Every year we have parents and participants graduate out of our system.  If you feel you could help out anywhere please speak up.  If you have ever wanted to coach and are looking for a place to get your feet wet, now is your chance.  We can place you alongside one of our veteran coaches and help you gain the skills to become a Cheer of Football Coach.  If you have coaching experience and are interested we have a place for you.  Anyone interested in helping out in encouraged to contact us today.

Coaching Clinics Regional and Conference Training will begin soon and we need to get your paperwork in right away.

East Manatee Bulldogs Pop Warner Spring Flag Season is In Full Effect:

The East Manatee Bulldogs are currently participating in the Pop Warner Spring Flag Season.  Spring flag is great way to provide our families with a great place spend the spring time.  We feel our spring program offers an close personal setting for parents and participants to get to know one another and have some one on one time.

East Manatee Bulldogs and The Pop Warner Difference:

Pop Warner’s requirement is to conduct a background check on everyone associated with our organizations staff.  This includes Coaches, Board of Directors members, and any other persons who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with players and/or cheer participants.

Pop Warner also sets a strict Age/Weight Matrix that ensures your participant(s) are competing with other teams on the same level.  It is the goal of Pop Warner and the East Manatee Bulldogs to provide each participant and parent with a great experience.  Pop Warner Little Scholars outlines the best way for our youth cheerleaders and youth football players to enjoy their overall experience.

Pop Warner Code of Conduct

Pop Warner’s National Code of Conduct is a main reason that Pop Warner Little Scholars is one of the most elite youth sports programs.  That being said our staff, parents, and players are held to a higher standard.  EMB works as hard as possible to ensure that the guidelines are followed.  If you feel someone in our organization is acting inappropriately please notify our staff.
