It had been several years in the works to get the building to the point of pulling the actual permit to begin the construction phase of the project. The permit was obtained the first week of June this year. In just under two months, we have gone from a dirt spot, to the foundation, slab, masonry walls, trusses, roof deck, interior framing, windows and doors, and rough plumbing all happening.
During the upcoming week of August 1, we will be getting in the HVAC, plumbing completed, cat5 lines run, and the roof shingles. The following week will be the electrician, drywall and possible exterior painting.
Our goal is simple. To be complete and working out of the building by the first home game. To make this happen, we need some parental volunteer help. The following is a list of things we will have to complete after the drywall phase of the job. Might as well help while you are there for practice every night!
